Hx5 is currently seeking an application developer/software tester to join our team in vicksburg, mississippi.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Perform initial and regression testing on all changes made to the application portal and its systems across all environments.
Review and analyze system and business specifications.
Create, maintain, and execute detailed and complete test cases for all system requirements and functionality.
Review and analyze test case results.
Create detailed test case result defect/bug reports and communicate these results effectively with the developers.
Log all work into team foundation server to meet audit requirements.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (computer science or software engineering)
Six (6) years of relevant experience.
Preferences
Experience with large software testing, microsoft team foundation server, agile development, technical writing and automated testing is a plus.
Preferred development programming languages are microsoft c# and .net; however, other programming languages may be required to support development of the system.
Must be a us citizen and successfully complete a u.sGovernment background investigation.
Must have a positive national agency check with local agency and credit checks (naclc)
