About the role:
The content team is looking for an experienced senior game producer with a passion for health and well-being to manage the production of casual games on happify (web/ios/android)The ideal candidate has owned end-to-end production for a leading online casual game, including design, engineering, play-testing, tuning, and qa, and is comfortable working across multiple time zones with team members in the u.sAnd europeIn this role, you will lead production for a time-management game currently under development, working with a small but mighty team of game designers/developers, a screenwriter, clinical advisor, and content supervisor, while working closely with c-level executives to refresh happify’s current games and ideate on future games that help people lead happier, healthier lives#li-remote
Role responsibilities
Manage the production of a narrative-driven, time-management game infused with psychoeducation to help users gain psychological skills.
Develop key milestones and deliverables for game production, collaborating with the content, clinical, and game design & development teams in the u.sAnd europe.
Manage project tracking in shortcut/asana and suggest improvements for production process.
Proactively identify risks associated with meeting feature and release milestones.
Communicate regularly with team members to track the status of tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Provide creative direction and input on new and existing games, collaborating with key stakeholders including c-level executives.
Oversee play-testing strategy for games in various stages of development.
Manage visual refresh of happify’s existing games across web + mobile apps.
Manage live shoots (including motion capture) and hiring actors as needed (may require travel to nyc).
Write internal documentation as necessary.
Serve as an internal game critic and tester.
Qualifications
8+ years casual games experience with at least one complete development cycle in a production role.
5+ years of experience as a producer within casual game development productionMust have shipped at least one game.
Experience working with offshore development teams across multiple time zones.
Superior communication and organizational skills; comfortable interacting with stakeholders and executives.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Bonus: experience filming with motion-capture and producing live shoots with actors.
