We are currently seeking a junior software developer to contribute to the development of harris education solution’s web-based castle learning product lineThis exciting and challenging position requires a self-motivated and independent individual who is committed to developing innovative web-based products that are used in the education community.
This position is a remote (work from home) position and as such will require better-than-average communication and organizational skillsAt harris, we pride ourselves on allowing employees flexibility and autonomy, and offering opportunities to grow.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Work as key member of the r&d team to analyze and program changes in castle learning`s web-based product suite
Maintain development deadlines and provide accurate estimates
Analyze and troubleshoot product stability issues reported by clients
Utilize programming skills to ensure delivered code meets high standards of quality and reusability
Follow functional/technical specifications and work with business analysts to ensure delivered code meets specifications
Work closely with quality assurance group to support release process for changes
Actively participate in code review and knowledge sharing sessions
Assist professional services/support staff as required with investigations of technical issues
