The qa tester will be designing and writing test automation scripts as part of a team, working on the qualification of a digital payment applicationSkills and competencies:
Experience in automation testing with selenium
Expertise in creation of test scripts
Strong functional testing skills
Experience with a payment systems or apps like zelle, venmo, or wire
Experience working in agile environments
Experience in banking or financial services highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Some knowledge of jenkins is preferred.
Job duties and responsibilities: design test plans, scenarios, scripts or proceduresTest system modifications to prepare for implementationDevelop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usabilityDocument software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developersIdentify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or contentMonitor bug resolution efforts and track successesCreate or maintain databases of known test defectsPlan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
