Full job description
Helbraun & levey, llp, a full-service boutique law firm located in downtown nyc, is seeking a litigation associate with 2-4 years of civil litigation experience to work with our clients in the hospitality industryCandidates must have experience handling all stages of commercial litigation, including motion practice, court appearances and trial preparationAs a member of the litigation group, you must be able to manage our clients’ expectations and communicate effectively to counsel them on a variety of litigation/dispute resolution strategies and risk assessments.
To be considered for this position, you:
· have hands-on broad litigation experience
· possess stellar research and writing skills
· have excellent communication skills
· have attention to detail, and you are extremely organized
· are able to manage and maintain your own calendar
· are a team player
· are pro-active and have an entrepreneurial spirit
Additional qualifications:
· law degree from an accredited institution
· passion for food and/or experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
While initially remote, upon return to the office, candidates must live within commuting distance of downtown nyc.
