Helpful engineering is seeking an event coordinator to volunteer to help fight covid!

About helpful engineering
Helpful engineering is an international, open-source community incubator focused on mobilizing people to help solve the covid-19 pandemic and other critical issuesWith thousands of volunteers worldwide, we support projects through innovations in engineering, community resources, software, and manufacturingMost of the projects are focused on finding solutions to fix the lack of products used by healthcare professionals, including hardware and software, but also non-technical products like surgical masks.
We have engineers and doctors all around the world who are producing ventilators, protective equipment, websites, and systems to organize volunteers to assist their communities and medical workersThey are making heroic efforts to produce products in time to help the outbreak.

Volunteer position description & responsibilities :
Helpful requires event coordinators to support the events directorThis role will involve developing ideas for events to be conducted by helpful engineering, followed by support in mobilizing the relevant skills and resources internally and externally to professionally organize these virtual events like hackathons, conferences, etcThis will require maintaining a solid events calendar to ensure consistent engagement, supporting the events during execution, and possibly post-execution for any follow-up queries.
Required experiences :
Experience in organizing events of similar kind i.e educational, technical, etc
Experience in social media and communication.
