Summary
Flatwater solutions seeks a full-time business development/capture manager to support our professional services business initiativesKey objectives for this position are to increase the probability of win for selected opportunities, assist in screening of opportunities, and participating and supporting the various pursuit decision processesPrimary tasks include collection of business intelligence, maintaining and expanding business and customer relationships and managing the capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through final bid submission.

Identify potential opportunities for bid and obtain information to aid in decision process
Develop, maintain and advance client and potential partner relationships through contacts and interactions to promote the company
Analyze draft and final federal solicitations and provide assessments for pursuit
Conduct market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and research
Develop and help implement marketing plans and capture strategies
Prepare assessment presentations for bid/no-bid decisions
Coordinate capture efforts with the proposal team, pricing, human resources, contracting and other company organizations to deliver successful capture activities
Attend various forums related to the company`s business interests such as industry days and association meetings
Participate in strategy and solution work sessions
Participate in planning, proposal kick off and post award kick off meetings

Position type/expected hours of work
This is a full-time positionTypical days and hours of work are monday through friday, 8:00 a.mTo 5:00 p.mEvening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is required during the business day, out-of-area and overnight travel to be expectedNew hire will be required to travel to bellevue, ne for approx2 weeks for orientation, with subsequent travel to bellevue on a quarterly basis.
Knowledge and experience
2 years’ experience in business development of professional services, seta, or a&as -related opportunities.
Experience bidding opportunities in support of federal agencies and understanding of set asides, hubzone and 8(a) programs is preferred.
Able to manage multiple bid efforts simultaneously
Ability to operate independently, make judgments based on broad guidance
Education
Bachelor`s degree in business, communications or related subjectExperience in federal business development or capture management may be substituted for education requirements.
Additional eligibility qualifications
Maintains a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company insurance provider/program.
Applicable shipley and associates training preferred
Experience in use of business opportunity tracking systems (sam.gov, govwin, bloomberg, etc) preferred.
