Full job description
Must be able to ensure hotel maintenance standards are achieved, the hotel maintenance worker must perform a variety of tasksFrom preventative maintenance to repair, the hotel maintenance worker must strive to keep the hotel at a high quality levelQualifications hotel maintenance workers must have extensive knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, as well as carpentry experienceMaintenance workers must work well without constant supervisionResponsibilities hotel maintenance workers must oversee the property grounds, public areas and the hotel`s guest roomsPreventative maintenance must be performed to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodationsCommon tasks include painting, electrical accessory replacements and repair, and some wiringAir conditioners must also be cleaned or replaced regularlyHotel maintenance workers must respond to guest complaints or issues in a timely manner and must also fulfill work orders when issues cannot be resolvedWorkers also are required to complete daily rounds, checking on basic hotel accommodations and identifying and reporting any problems.
