Carrier service analyst
Due to continued growth and our philosophy of promoting from within, we are hiring entry-level team members in our downtown indianapolis officeAs an entry-level carrier service analyst, you will join our carrier sales team as part of our tracking/tracing/check-call group.
Success in this role will lead to a fast-track into carrier sales or into inside sales/account management opportunitiesThis is your opportunity to learn the business from a premier-level service provider with a fast-growing technology-based company.

What does the job look like?
Monitor and track all loads for on-time delivery to ensure details are accurately communicated.
Proactively identify potential transit problems by effectively utilize technology and problem-solving skills to resolve carrier issues.
Maintain constant contact with carriers (average 100+ touch points/day).
Collaborate with team on carrier procurement details to ensure most effective solutions for our customers and our carrier partners.
Utilize business development skills to identify, qualify and develop relationships with prospective carriers and independently build carrier relationshipsEnter all carrier prospecting activity in the company tms.
Ensure accurate data capture, data integrity and system entry in all carrier-related functions in company tms.
What do you need to get the job done?
Bs or associate`s degree in supply chain management, sales, marketing, or other related field of business is preferred.
Strong teamwork skills and a desire to be part of a larger family-oriented team.
Superior written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeMust be detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
Must embody a strong work ethic and driven by a competitive, winning desire to succeed in personal and professional growth.
Proven self-starter with confidence and high energy level.
Successful dispatch or tracking/tracing experience in freight brokerage, trucking dispatch operations or logistics environment is preferred, but not requiredWe will train someone with the right attitude and energy.
