Assesses web development (ecommerce) quality through manual and automated testingFinds and reports bugs and glitchesEnsures that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
Essential job functions
Review and analyze system specifications.
Collaborate with others to develop effective strategies and test plans
Participates in requirement analysis, release planning, bug triage, and test planning meetings.
Write manual test cases and/or develop automated test scripts, reports and other test documentation
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Report status, progress, issues and concerns to project stakeholders and other team members
Participate in risk-based test planning
Evaluate and suggest new tools and technologies

Required experience
Degree or completed coursework in computer sciences
5+ years of quality assurance (qa) experience
3+ years of test automation experience, preferably selenium
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where commitments matter
Experience in testing ecommerce, preferably magento 2.x
Experience in creation/maintenance of test documentation
Experience in performing manual tests in areas including ui, api, database (sql), and data testing
Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing
Prior experience in building or improving test automation frameworks
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Dedication to continuing professional development
Desired experience
Experience with continuous integration and development processes
Experience working with agile teams and are familiar with jira or other bug tracking systems.
Experience testing erp integrations
Comfortable in basic linux command line, github cli or similar
