The senior software engineer (front-end) develops software products and systems for our smart wi-fi irrigation control (https://www.hydrawise.com/)S/he analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems and creates and modifies computer programs, systems, and related procedures to process data.

Qualifications:
Education/training required and preferred:
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience required and preferred:
Minimum seven years of progressive experience in software development (two years’ experience with react native and four years’ experience with reactjs as a minimum).
Must be able to work in the west coast or central usa time zones.
Primary work will be feature development in our front-end application (reactjs and react native) - 80% of the time.
Mandatory skills: reactjs (min 2 years), unit testing, state management, typescript
Interest or experience in iot, cloud, scalability, automation preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting skills required.
Wide skills across aws (or other cloud based systems), mysql, cloud-based, large code bases, front end (react / react native)
Bonus skills: react native and php
Knowledge, skills and abilities (ksa`s) required and preferred:
Ksa #1: ability to accurately perform troubleshooting of software, hardware, and database issues.
Ksa #2: proven experience developing or maintaining a significantly sized application.
Ksa #3: strong experience with reactjs is required.
Ksa #4: ability to read, understand and modify codebases written by third parties.
Ksa #5: excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with members across the organization.
Ksa #6: advanced proficiency in use of computers and network systems.
Ksa #7: highly technical, hands-on coder with great attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Ksa #8: good written and verbal communication skills in english.
Ksa #9: ability to work under minimal supervision and within timelines.
Ksa #10: ability to recognize and act upon opportunities to learn and teach skills.
Ksa #11: ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with a global team.
Ksa #12: able to lead projects and collaborate with internal customers to ensure adherence to requirements.
