Location: newport news, virginia, united states date: oct 6, 2021 job description synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraintsDevelops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systemsCoordinates integrated testing activitiesReviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test programPerforms technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluationsReplacement for procedure writer who left the companyThe work load of the a1b procedure group supports this replacement hireThe individual selected to fill this spot will be the lead writer for a1b class rpi&c, ppmc, and pplan proceduresThis individual will interface with the waterfront test engineers performing the tests as well as the nnl, pppy, and navsea subject matter expertsThe experience and level of knowledge required for this position justifies the engineer systems test 4 titleBasic qualifications 9 years with bachelors in science; 7 years with masters; 4 years with phd.- newport news shipbuilding requires a bachelors degree in engineering from an abet accredited program.
