The quality control manager is required to develop, implement, manage and maintain effective quality policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for iso compliance.
Duties and responsibilities:
The quality control manager must prepare, maintain, enforce, and update quality control plans to drive performance using iso 9001:2015 standards across the programResponsible for all aspects of iso compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable iso standardsMust possess broad knowledge of army logistical functions and the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programsMust have the ability to: establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress; establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements; conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
Minimum job requirements:
Shall have a bachelor degree in a related discipline and three years’ experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environmentMust also have three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to international organization for standard (iso) programsIso 9000 lead auditor qualification is preferred.
