Overview
The infrastructure engineer 2 is responsible for designing and supporting the it infrastructure and acting as an escalation point for requests and issues related to systems and users.
What you will be doing
Maintain, monitor and support secure infrastructure environments and data center facilities; drive improvement to maintain and achieve high security posture
Assist in building and maintaining the hardware and software components of the it infrastructure
Troubleshoot issues for internal and external customers; assist problem-solving efforts, root-cause analysis, and post-mortem analysis to drive process improvements
Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures
Participate in design, implementation and execution of backup and disaster recovery
Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, hyland’s information systems security policy
What will make you successful
High school diploma, or equivalent
Experience as a systems administrator
Experience with public cloud solutions
Experience with citrix, netapp, and linux
Experience with virtualization technology
Experience with microsoft windows network environments
Good oral and written communications skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good customer service orientation
Demonstrated ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct documentation
Attentive to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure accuracy
Good knowledge of systems administration
Good knowledge of microsoft windows network environments
