About the opportunity

We at illuminate education are seeking an analytical and experienced qa engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring that we are consistently delivering a performant, bug and defect-free, productYou will participate in planning discussions with business stakeholders and development staff to determine how business problems and opportunities can be resolved with enhancements to existing software and the creation of new software systemsIf you have a love for testing, breaking, and fixing products, then we want to work with you.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners and software engineers to understand technical system requirements, business use cases, and application performance considerations.
Design, implement, and execute comprehensive and well-structured automated suites for regression and performance testing.
Generate performance graphs, status reports and other related documentation for validation and analysis.
Analyze testing data to determine areas where a product can be improved or modified to better meet the needs of customers.
Present report findings, suggestions, and detailed data to stakeholders in an informative manner to help them make better decisions regarding a product’s function and purpose.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Establish metrics, apply industry best practices, and develop new tools and processes to ensure quality.
Minimum requirements
3+ years work experience in software quality assurance or related discipline.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools with the ability to manually test web applications.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
Preferred experience & qualifications
Experience with performance and/or security testing.
Experience with ci/cd tools.
Experience with different testing techniques such as ui testing, automated testing, and api testing.
Familiarity with agile development processes.
