Imarc is looking for a strategist to assist in all the aspects of research and planning for building websites and web applicationsWe are a digital agency headquartered in amesbury, maFor 20+ years, we’ve been steadily growing and creating high quality, award winning web applications, branding, and marketing solutions for companies across all industries.
You`ll be working with a dedicated project team with a project manager, designer, and a couple web engineers (and of course our clients)Your mission: help design and define the project from start to finish, with the client`s goals and best practices always in mind.
We`re looking for someone who loves listening to clients and their audience, asking the tough questions, diving head first into analyzing data and uncovering areas for optimization based on your findingsAll the while being extremely thorough and documenting requirements for our clients and production team along the way.
What you`ll need to succeed
Work with project leads to translate high-level project definition of proposals into detailed requirements documents ready for production
Collaborate with clients and internal leads to design overall user experience for websites and applications.
Research and understand analytics as regards to diagnosing potential ux pain points and areas for optimization.
Help plan information architecture and refine sitemaps
Work with project leads to produce and refine high-fidelity wireframes
Define functional elements and how content will display on pages.
Collaborate drafting the flow and user journeys for completing tasks
Be a champion for users
Recommend best practices in regards to usability of an application or website
Collaborate across departments ensuring overall project continuity and consensus on designs.
Participate usability and user testing
Skills and abilities
2-3 years experience with user experience design, information architecture, visual design, web design, usability research
Solid understanding of best practices and technology landscape
Great communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
