We are seeking a dynamic corporate communications strategy & operations directorIn this role, you will be helping to ensure that our efforts are driving maximum value for the businessYou will play an active role in crafting the programming that underpins the stories we tell to a range of audiencesYou’ll design, implement and help evolve the mechanisms that support program efficiencyJob details
Measurement & effectiveness
Design and uplevel a metrics strategy focused on understanding activities, outcomes and impact in alignment with company priorities, messaging and audiences
Oversee the collection and analysis of data, identifying trends and providing recommendations to leverage strengths and address gaps
Develop dashboards and measurement reports for regular updates on effectiveness for key internal stakeholders
Develop models to help scope team effort and impact
Overseeing team’s resources and budget: partner with the marketing operations and finance teams to manage our team’s budget and resourcesResponsibilities include helping to forecast resourcing needs ahead of time, managing global vendor relationships, sows/pos, and flagging the need to address resourcing gaps in a timely manner
Program management
Align with corporate communications vice president to align on vision and in turn develop frameworks, tools and resources to aid in vision implementation
Help build and strengthen relationships between corp comm team and internal as well as external stakeholders
Coordinate team offsites/events, trainings, and celebrations as needed
Proactively identify any and all areas of improvement in favor of team priorities and northstar goals
Refresh and maintain corporate press room and support enhancements of other corporate external pages
Process improvement
Lead the team roadmap/calendar and initiatives and facilitate regular team touchpoints, ensuring accountability
Work with corporate communication leadership team to brainstorm tools and processes to help increase efficiencies in key operational areas such as workflow, prioritization, scaling initiatives globally, resourcing and team communication to help us stay on track in achieving goals and priorities that ladder up to our northstar
Build key stakeholders presentations and status reports
Run business reviews and post-mortems as needed
Who you are
Desired skills/experience
~ 15 years of experience in communications and project management, with a focus on process improvement, data analysis, tool assessment and implementation
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and projects in a deadline driven environment
An agile problem-solving mindset to help us work better and faster
Loves to keep things simple, clear and concise
Constantly curious and a lifetime learner
Able to digest a lot of information and help distill it down to ensure alignment to program priorities
Excellent team player able to work within a global operating model, including virtual and distributed cross-functional teams, with the flexibility to work across different time zones
Excellent spoken and written communications as well as receptive listening skills
Works effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
Capacity to rapidly identify issues, communicate immediately and effectively, and work to resolution
