We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic application field engineer with the desire to work with and build lasting relationships with our long-term customers, many of which are in the fortune 100 size and importance.
Purpose
The successful candidate has a proven background in the project-based, field engineering skills in our key vertical marketsOur applications are designed around a layered, multi-technology approach comprised of industrial-grade products including ip cameras, video analytics, radar, networking, and powerRequires both office and fieldwork, including but not limited to; climbing and use of ladders, working in confined spaces, and familiarity working within construction areas.
Responsibilities
· assist with on-site management to ensure project success
· ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
· engineering support of project lifecycle, from design thru project closure
· design, implementation, and support of projects that include:
O l3 and l2 networking
O video management system
O vmware support
O video management
O video walls support
O field cameras
O ground-based radar systems
· project team engineering leadership
Requirements
Bsee
Ccna cisco certification or equivalent
Relevant networking experience, l2 and l3
Video and/or radar knowledge a plus
Relevant electrical engineering experience
Project management skills
Good written and verbal skills
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Able to work successfully in the field a team-based environment and independently
Experience working with contractors, integrators and end users
Self-motivated with the skill and discipline necessary to work to deadlines
