Full job description
Prefer 2+ years med device experience with both protocol/report creation as well as hands on device testing
Position is 100% onsite with some flexibility for remote work
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical, or other related engineering field
At least 8-10 years of related work experience, primarily in r&d engineering
Experience in various aspects of designing and testing medical devices
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Demonstrated experience writing test methods, model development and identifying potential issues with designs
Working knowledge of the eu mdr
Selected candidate will primarily work on mdr remediation activities with a strong possibility of moving to new product development in the future
Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment
Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality
Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development
Demonstrated experience writing test methods, model development and identifying potential issues with designs
Product testing and test method development
Open to relocation at candidate`s own expense
