We are seeking an ambitious litigation associate to support our fast-growing commercial and ip litigation practicesThis position is a remote work position, although we prefer a candidate admitted in illinois and located in the chicagoland areaThe ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing and legal analysis skills, who enjoys practicing law in a fast-paced environment and working on cutting edge legal issuesOur firm offers opportunities for career growth that are unconstrained by rigid hierarchy.
Requirements
2 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience, with e-commerce and intellectual property experience desired.
Preferably licensed to practice law in illinois, or planning to soon become licensed in illinois.
Creative, curious, and interested in learning new things
Desire in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters
Well-versed in federal court litigation and the federal rules of civil procedure, including writing and filing motions brought under rule 12(b)
Interest in and experience with intellectual property law, including the lanham act, the copyright act and/or u.sPatent laws
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Outstanding research and analytical skills
