The role:
Interdependence public relations is seeking to bring on a commercial collections attorney to oversee a broad range of general corporate matters with a focus on drafting and negotiating commercial collectionsThe position requires a keen business judgment and a solutions-oriented perspectiveThe ideal candidate is someone who has deep expertise in finance and collections.
The responsibilities:
Draft and send demand letters
Collections, pre-litigations, litigation (filing a writ, responding to discovery)
Judgement enforcement and collection
Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience
Must have strong track record of collections success
Must be licensed in the state of california
Qualifications & skills:
Understanding of the probate process and various types of probate
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in microsoft office applications
Ability to gather, compile information, analyze data, and prepare reports
Ability to read, interpret, understand, and implement laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements
Working knowledge of the fair debt collection practices act, telephone consumer protection act, pci security, sas 70/iso (a plus) and additional ca state and federal laws and governing bodies applicable to the collection industry
