The business architect leads the development of the business requirements and needs assessment for a pi/fwa project and architecting a clear business solutionThe business architect works with the data and delivery teams to ensure that the pi/fwa design will meet business needsThe business architect works with the business teams to ensure that changes to process design and workflow are addressed as part of the overall solutionThe business architect is responsible for developing the functional specification and support development and testing as neededA minimum of eight (8) years of experience implementing large-scale healthcare it solutions within environments similar to that of the mmis (medicaid management information system) — a minimum of ten (10) years of experience building and supporting mission critical, multi-tier large scale healthcare applications— possess a working knowledge of business process modeling— possess expert knowledge of the contractor’s pi solution, having implemented a solution similar to pi in no less than one (1) environment at least as complex as the mmis— possess expert knowledge of national policy and standards that impact the medicaid environment— possess generalized knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and data configurations— possess experience with metadata management.
