Note - must: locust or working in open-source tool python scripting worked in an aws environment 2+ years of experience, just looking for a solid candidate who can work independently job responsibilities: as part of the job, the candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks 1Performance test design / scripting / testing 2Use open source performance test tools such as locust 3Execute / monitor / analyze distributed performance tests daily 4Understand the application and determine end to end tests required to simulate transactions in a production environment 5Understand site usage by analyzing production traffic using various tools such as splunk, new relic and pendo 6Maintain performance tests across releases 7Communicate with various teams and follow up / own issues till resolution 8Design performance tests that include execution of sql stored procedures, elastic search index creation batch jobs, various python batch jobs, daily sftp incoming files and mongodb based cron jobs 9Review test results by observing monitoring tools such as splunk, new relic, honeycomb, kibana 10Analyze where bottlenecks lie to help developers fix issues job requirements the candidate will be experienced in the following: 1Understanding of performance testing 2Open source tools for performance testing 3Quality assurance 4Testing concepts such as writing performance test cases for an application, creating test data for an application, understanding the application 5Development concepts such as development standards, design, development framework / models 6Analytical and logical thinking 7Work in a fast paced agile environment 8Version control tools such as git, bitbucket and github 9Troubleshooting skills 10Monitoring and log aggregator tools
