Jrc is seeking a requirements/systems engineer to support our government customer, the missile defense agency (mda).
This program is based out of dahlgren, va, but work can be performed remotelyPosition will be 90% telecommuting.
The requirements/systems engineer will have a strong background and familiarity with the systems engineering principles and methods experience in fleet operations and maintenanceThe most qualified candidates will apply oral and written communication skills to senior program leadership.
Responsibilities:
Participate and/or lead technical working groups
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Requirements:
Secret clearance
Master`s degree
12+ years of experience
Demonstrated experience working with senior engineers and other members of the technical community
Background and familiarity with the systems engineering principles and methods experience in fleet operations and maintenance
Candidate will need to understand and be familiar with the maintenance and operations of the aws
Understanding how the systems engineering process is used to verify success in meeting the bmds requirements
Aegis operational and maintenance experience required
Missile defense-related or other dod programs/projects is desired, as well as a top secret clearanceIn some cases, military education can be considered in lieu of bachelor’s (with associate’s degree) and master’s degree (with bachelor’s degree).
