Position summary: *this position requires a knowledge base in architectural & structural design, construction methods, fabrication and materials, for projects such as curtain walls, storefronts, rain screens and exterior claddingIdeal candidates are experienced in the completion of working shop drawing sets from architectural designsIn addition, we`re looking for someone with strong attention to detail and and the ability to implement design intent in a timely and accurate mannerThis position will function both independently, as well as in group settings, and work on several projects simultaneously.
This position is ideally located in phoenix az, and can also be located anywhere in the country from your home office.
Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in the construction industry required in storefront projects and other architectural designs
Fluency in autocad 2018 or later versions required; knowledge of solidworks also preferred
Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing required
Technical proficiency in a variety of programs, to include microsoft office, google docs, etc
