Summary
The salesforce developer will perform full-cycle software development tasks in an agile software development environmentThis position will work closely with the lead systems engineer to design, implementation and test application features and capabilities for an applicant tracking system supporting an internal and external user base at levels between 45 and 150 users.
Essential duties & responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise mid-tier components of web driven n-tier application framework.
Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces to third-party systems.
Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically.
Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout sdlc to identify issues/defects.
Perform code reviews prior to deployment.
Collaborate with technical product owners, scrum masters, and release managers to plan, develop, and deploy salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Comply to coding standards for performance, ease of maintenance and scalability and application security.
Follow agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
Coding against the salesforce api’s.
Designing salesforce interfaces.
Designing the data model.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Additional duties as assigned.

Job requirements:
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in related field
Experience developing in an agile scrum environment
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in salesforce environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (u.sCitizenship required)
Special skills
Experience as a salesforce developer with hands-on experience with the salesforce platform to deliver projects using sdlc and/or agile methodologies.
Extensive experience with development, implementation, customization, and integration of software systems.
Software development experience (i.eJava, javascript, jquery, css, json, rest, soap, xml, and/or jsp/jsf).
Self-starter who is comfortable working both independently, remotely and with various skill sets including other designers and developers.
Ability to work with diverse team and multiple stakeholder environment with client interfacing skills.
Understanding of design, usability and functionality in multi-platform and browser environments.
Experience working with skuid (metadata) objects in salesforce.
Cloud / aws experience; experience with salesforce service cloud and / or marketing cloud.
Experience with full sdlc from technical design to development, testing and deployment.
Organized and efficient with ability to document all stages of the design solutions.
Experience with salesforce apis, apex, lightning, soql, sosl, and/or visualforce.
Experience in microsoft office tools (outlook, word, excel, visio, etc.).
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Continuous integration experience.
Comptia security+ certification.
Driving requirement
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.
Driving may be required when traveling and/or short occasional amounts of local drivingThe expected driving time is less than 10%.
Travel
Travel up to 10% may be anticipated
