The test engineer iv is responsible for contributing to development of an enterprise portal serving 1m usersAs a test engineer iv you should be able to effectively multitask across complex assignments and identify obstacles ahead of timeTest engineer iv methodology should focus equally on the user experience, functionality, and system performance.
Define and maintain test system configurations, maintain test data sets, write test plans and procedures ensuring traceability, and perform test executions.
Communicate strategic direction effectively to subordinates, peers, external customers, and teammates.
Write automated test scripts for backend applications.
Lead teams in analyzing problems, make recommendations and implement solutions.
Develop important professional relationships with customers and is recognized as an important technical resource and team leader.
Identify root cause of repetitive problems and take steps to correct.
Establish the appropriate level of authority and responsibility for delegated tasks.
Anticipate problems and circumvents them by effectively planning, communicating, and implementing alternative solutions.
Manage and focus customer expectations within the constraints for delivering a product that meets program cost and schedule objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the interrelationship of technology and the business application for the customer.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory responsibilities:
May be required to lead test teams and special projects.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree (or the equivalent) computer science or an equivalent field with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Should have five (5) years of experience leading test teams.
Should have five (5) years of experience working in an integrated environment and multi-discipline collaboration (i.eSystems engineer, software developers, devops, etc.).
Experience developing mobile automated testing solutions.
Experience with automated unit testing.
Experience with continuous integration methodologies using tools like jenkins and bamboo.
Experience with best practices in configuration management using tools like svnSerena dimensions a plus.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (u.sCitizenship required).
Special skills:
Must have excellent communication skills required to lead test teams and interact with customers on a daily basis.
Self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and with various skill sets including other integrators and testers.
Organized and efficient with ability to document all levels of testing from unit to system testing.
Experience in microsoft office tools (outlook, word, excel, visio, etc.).
Travel:
Travel up to 25%
Driving requirements:
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.
Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local drivingThe expected driving time is less than 25%.
