Dematic has an immediate need for a technical training specialist within our customer service department at dematicThis employee may be remote, but must be open to travel up to 70% to customer job sites within the united statesFamiliarity with software and controls deployment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is requiredThis employee will develop and deliver training programs to customers at customer sites and to internal staff using a combination of in person and electronic delivery methodsOther responsibilities include: - develop and deliver quality operations mechanical maintenance, controls maintenance, and customer solution training to customers at their sties - development of student guides and training power points - understand and communicate how dematic’s custom solutions integrate into the operation of a material handling system- adapt and adjust quickly to changing training configurations at customer training sites.

Tasks and qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
5 years experience designing and delivering maintenance training for customized products and systems
Bachelor`s degree (engineering field preferred)
Experience with plcs and exposure to plc programming
Ability to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets and design requirements
Preferred qualifications:
Exceptionally strong communication and training skills and strong process/detail orientation skill
Familiarity with mechanical disciplines
Experience with: machine diagnostics and repair, and automation
Passion for helping others learn
Experience and proven ability to design and develop technical training materials
