Full job description
Designing hvac systems for buildings and infrastructure including hvac, plumbing, storm water, sanitary, fire protection, etcApplying industry standards and codes to building and site designsCreating hvac-specific packages, performing field inspections, creating as-built documents, assisting in research related to material qualities, feasibility, restrictions, etcSuggesting new ideas and processes, staying informed of developments in practice areas, and viewing obstacles as opportunitiesVerifying that all mechanical designs comply with local codes and ordinances.
Who we`re looking for: the ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering design experienceA mechanical pe license is not a requirement but recommended.
What you`ll need to be successful:
Proficient in hap carrier or trane trace, revit, and autocad.
A passion for hvac design, plumbing, sanitary, and fire suppression.
Ability to research code provisions, products, material information, etc.
Ability to coordinate information exchange between clients, project manager, and project team.
Ability to work well with others and independently.
