Position: qa automation engineer
Level: analyst

Must have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 or more years of it qa automation experience
What you’ll do
Forming part of a fintech qa team you will be responsible for helping to drive our client’s strategy for technological excellenceTogether with the team you will translate requirements into automation-based technology solutionsIn your role you will:
Plan and implement full set of test automation activities: create, maintain, and execute automated tests
Develop and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks
Perform functional, regression, integration, load and stress testing
Work with developers and the qa team on building test cases
Participate with development teams in release management and process improvement
Skills you’ll need
Strong knowledge of any jvm programming language, preferably python
Automated test tool/frameworks development experience
Experience with selenium and gherkin
Knowledge of version control like github, gitlab
Knowledge of aws environment
Knowledge of docker/ kubernates also desired
Knowledge of sql/ unix
Good testing and troubleshooting experience across software development lifecycle
Understanding software development and testing processes
Comfortable working with financial data and large data sets
Good communication skills
Written and spoken english
Experience working in distributed teams and comfortable working in remote capacity
Understanding of banking systems, financial transactions and blockchain is a huge advantage
