Reporting line:
Vp of engineering
Responsibilities:
Developing and optimizing our core algorithms and data architecture.
Analyzing and manipulating large new datasets from potential customers to fit our data schema.
Building rapid prototypes for technical proof-of-concepts (pocs) to support large enterprise sales.
Potentially working on quick timelines to satisfy customer deadlines.
Working closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers
Developing a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and translating their business logic into algorithmic logic.
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the kinta platform to advise the sales team on effective ways of positioning kinta products, solutions and services.

Requirements
Energetic, adaptable, excited to work on new problems
Strong algorithmic intuition
Interested in real-world modeling and algorithmic optimization, with an interest in solving difficult business problems(we have found candidates with backgrounds in scientific computing, algorithmic trading, or autonomous vehicles tend to be a good fit).
Organizational ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Prior experience working in small teams or even solo with ill defined tasks
(preferred) prior experience building out public facing apis
(preferred) past experience with, or intellectual interest in manufacturing processes and economics is definitely a plus.
(preferred) comfortable in being occasionally client-facing.
(preferred) django rest framework, python, pandas, postgresql
(optional) devops: terraform, aws
