Kollabio, a growing boutique digital consultancy that provides digital transformation solutions and services to public and private sector organizations, is looking for a devops/aws engineer to work with multiple customers across our portfolioPrimary responsibilities include: working with infrastructure and development teams to determine build and deployment requirements, provisioning infrastructure on aws, and collaborating with the development team to build the automation required to implement continuous delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and operationalize aws environment provisioning and continuous integration & deployment (ci/cd) solutions using terraform, gitlab and amazon web services (aws) technology stack
Build automated provisioning and deployment scripts for environments deployed on aws using terraform and cloudformation
Build, manage and support development, testing and production environments
Act as a partner to, and a bridge between, application development teams and infrastructure teams with a focus on building automated processes that will meet operational and security goals
Work with development teams to build custom continuous delivery pipelines using gitlab ci/cd and recommend best practices for build, test, and deployment automation
Partner with development teams by providing infrastructure assistance and guidance from the early phases of product development, including the development of software and processes to assist developers in
Infrastructure-related workflows (such as build, release and deployment automation).
Work with the product owner, development and infrastructure teams to define, gather, and document technical and functional requirements for new and existing digital assets
Collaborate with product owners and developers to resolve incident tickets and monitoring alerts
Provide tier-1 support and participate in 24x7 on call cycle support to troubleshoot multiple environments.
Requirements
Required skills & qualifications
7+ years of experience in the development or administration of scalable web applicationsLinux-based system administration and/or configuration management experience preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in working with and administering various components of aws, or significant experience (greater than three years) with another major public cloud provider
5+ years of experience in developing automated configuration management, provisioning, and deployment using tools and frameworks such as chef, puppet, ansible, terraform, etc(terraform preferred)
Hands-on experience administering gitlab based continuous integration, delivery, and build automation pipelines
Experience with microservices and use/ orchestration of containers (e.gDocker, kubernetes, fargate, openshift).
A burning desire to automate anything that has to be done more than once
Excellent oral, written, and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members as needed
Self-starter type of individual, willing to take on tasks and ask for help as neededAble to manage day to day tasks while fielding interruptions
Familiarity with modern web/mobile development stacks and practices (serverless, containerization, cloud, continuous delivery, micro-services, event-based applications)
Understanding of software development life cycle, agile development, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Bachelor of science degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, information systems, industrial engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired skills & qualifications
Experience collaborating and managing source code with git / bitbucket
Expertise in server prototyping and virtualization tools and platforms (vagrant, docker, etc.)
Understanding of and experience in working within an agile framework (scrum, kanban, etc.)
Fluent in perl or similar scripting languages for developing linux applications
Knowledge of sql and no-sql data stores
Experience with docker containers and orchestration platforms such as ecs, kubernetes, mesos, and/or swarm
Aws certifications are a huge plus
Must be authorized to work in the u.s(no exceptions)
Candidate must have u.sCitizenship or a permanent resident card - no exceptions
