Kollabio, a growing boutique digital consultancy that provides digital transformation solutions and services to public and private sector organizations, is looking for a technical lead/architect to work with multiple customers across our portfolioAs a technical lead/architect, you will provide product teams with technical guidance, develop architecture, and design artifacts for modernization of multiple applicationsAdditionally, in this role you will have responsibilities to foster technology innovation, identify opportunities for technical efficiencies, create and modify best practices and communicate those to the appropriate technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and direction to frontend and backend / api developers on the team
Design and develop api’s using node.js and loopback.io
Conduct regular design and code reviews
Ensure technical excellence while also minimizing technical debt
Partner with product ownersbusiness smes to analyze the business need and provide guidance on solution options and trade-offsEnsure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs.
Support product owners, software engineers, and scrum masters daily by providing architectural subject matter expertise across the entire solution
Assess current state architecture and make recommendations for future state architecture aligned with organization’s cloud-based initiatives
Drive the creation and modifications of the end-to-end product architecture, identifying and engaging all technical resources necessary to contribute to the architecturedesignThis includes ensuring the solution is consistent with organization’s enterprise architecture and design standards.
Identify and drive technical efficiencies where appropriate, createmodify best practices and communicate those to the appropriate technical stakeholders.
Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts and reusable components to guide the development team and demonstrate concepts
Requirements
8+ years of hands-on experience in design and architecture of cloud based, scalable, high performant business solutions
5+ years of experience with full cycle application development (full sdlc experience: design, development, delivery, etc.), 3+ years with agile, secdevops or cicd
5+ years real world experience implementing modern, scalable and extensible application and infrastructure design patterns, complex data algorithms, micro-service architectures, disposable, reactive, stateless and distributed patterns which ensure long term technical viability of new deployments
4+ years architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions in aws
Working experience with native cloud architectures; amazon web services (aws) preferred
Experience building and deploying production-grade applications in either physical or virtualized environments
Experience architecting streaming/event driven data platforms
Ability to discover and define functional requirements and to transform them into technical requirements and architecture definition
Proven ability to lead a group through an architectural development process and collaborate with technical teams, business and other constituents
Experience leading small technical teams and a proven ability to mentor and guide multiple-disciplined (full stack) technical teams
Proven ability to influence technology strategy and best practices across peer and leadership groups that support an agilerapid development culture
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences
A strong intellectual curiosity to continually challenge what exists and explore what should be changed to best meet evolving business and market
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in technological or related field
