Role: qa automation engineer
Unit: defi
Mission: bug-free and user-friendly defi products.
Mission description:
Story: our clients need bug-free and stable defi products and lachain to have their financial life easy, safe, and convenient.
Goal: minimize downtime because of bugs to 0% and raise execution success rate up to 100% at 10k tps on lachain in 3 month.
How: review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
Design, develop and implement test plans.
Design and implement tests and define corrective actions.
Identify and track bugs.
Perform regression testing.
Main performance number: uptime
Second performance number: test coverage
Third performance number: requests success rate
Functions:
Test plans : develop and apply testing processesCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Develop : design, develop and maintain automation scripts.
Testing : perform manual and automated testing for frontend, middleware and backend components.
Metrics : design and track quality assurance metrics.
Support : because of the in-depth knowledge of the system, help other developers and business units, to provide insight where any problems could occur.
Feedback ui/ux : pursue the best ux by continuous improvements.
Bug reports : identify bugs and provide clear bug reports, discuss bugs prioritisation, make sure they are fixed in time.
Requirement skills and experience:
2+ years experience in testing financial/trading platforms.
Experience in designing test plans and testing scenarios for financial/trading products.
Solid knowledge of:
Test design principles and techniques.
Client-server architecture and http protocol.
Trading terminology and processes.
Experience in working with relational dbs and sql querying tools.
Experience in reading logs and investigating issues root cause.
Ability to successfully identify key metrics for product quality.
Customer-focused and problem-solving skills.
Will be a strong plus:
Experience in defi products or blockchain
Web3
Experience as a trader in banking or finance.
Experience in creating trading bots.
Knowledge of git / kubernetes / rancher / grafana dashboards
Graduated from a top university.
Participant in the regional level of olympiad competitions or other relevant qa certificates.
