This position is for a cyber governance, risk, and compliance professional working for lockheed martin missiles and fire control (mfc) information security office (iso)This position will be responsible for overall cyber risk and information security operations support and remediation activities throughout the mfc business area.
The selected individual will serve as the business area scan point of contact for mfc and will be responsible for ensuring that the entirety of the mfc ip space is being scanned for vulnerabilities and work with the responsible personnel to remediate systems throughout the ba.
Focus areas include:
Contract data protections
Supply chain cybersecurity
Cyber governance, risk and compliance
Risk assessments, remediation tracking, and validations
Metrics and reporting
Mergers and acquisitions
Special projects/project management
As a member of the mfc iso team, this individual will leverage broad understanding of it and cyber domains to assess the security posture of various elements of mfc and determine the adequacy of current controlsThe individual would support in merger and acquisition activities, as requiredThe individual will lead validation efforts to ensure risks have been mitigated, compensating controls have been implemented, or residual risks are being adequately managed as part of the overall risk registerThe individual will review and supports requests from the business to ensure cyber contract data protections are well defined and reasonable.
Basic qualifications:
Understanding of contracts and/or program capture
Understanding of security best practices
Understanding of network concepts
Experience administration or engineering in one or more of the following: cloud, network, linux, unix, or mobility
Documented experience with threat modeling and cyber risk analysis, inclusive of firewall rule risk management
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peer teams for common solutions
Ability to research and analyze problems
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies
Proven record of successfully applying systems thinking, process discipline, operational excellence
Ability to obtain and retain a dod secret clearance (not required at time of hire)
Desired skills:
Demonstrated ability to use policies/guidelines and provide technical solutions for non-compliant environments
Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru in high-pressure situations
Ability to self-manage projects and appropriate deliverables while working multiple efforts simultaneously
Hands on experience analyzing isolated network security postures and performing risk assessments
Some understanding of lockheed martin cyber security policies, procedures and blueprints
Demonstrated working knowledge of lockheed martin mfc environments
Contract review and/or negotiations
Program capture or proposal support
Experience identifying and reducing risk in operational environments
Working knowledge of industry risk management control frameworks and best practices
Familiarity with amazon web services
Familiarity with dfars cyber provisions including national institute of standards and technology (nist) special publication 800-171
Experience working with the lockheed martin corporate information security (cis) organization and cis tools (cyris, cats, splunk, web front end, cipm iq)
Security+ or cissp certification
