Job duties
Develop scalable infrastructure and pipeline to train large data sets and run deep learning models to validate artificial intelligence (al) applications.
Develop research roadmap in high performance compilers to optimize and make an efficient embedded al
Provide technical leadership in software systems for embedded al
Work closely with product leadership to determine the optimum use cases for edge al
Present discoveries from research and influence project development
Manage third party collaborations in research and development as required.
Gather customer requirements to create high-level component level software
Collaborate with other technical leads and product leadership to prioritize pipeline of high value targets for research and integration into the
Provide guidance to data scientists on modeling
Build and manage a team of scientists and engineers to develop novel approaches to analyze, design, and develop test embedded
Analyze current operational procedures, identifying problems and overseeing best practices to optimize business
Job requirements
Phd in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
Eight (8) years of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupations.
Position requires: eight (8) years of experience training others in high-level computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline
Eight (8) years of experience in publishing in peer-reviewed publications/journals and presenting at industry conferences.
Five (5) years of experience in developing high performance processor hardware and software architectures.
Five (5) years of experience in designing software systems for applications in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning.
May telecommute from anywhere in the u.s.
Travel requirements
Up to five (5) percent for domestic and international travel to conferences as needed.
Salary offered
$180,000 per year.
