Are you an interior design enthusiast who loves to create engaging content? someone who pours through design blogs, magazines, and instagram-soaking up ideas, trends, and topics to shape your own content?
We are looking for a digital content writer/creator who is passionate about interior design to write and create content for (but not limited to) blog posts, email campaigns, web content, social media posts, ads, etcYour copy should be engaging and use search engine optimization (seo) best practices to drive interest and attract customers.
Layla grayce is a luxury furniture and decor online retailerWe offer designer furniture, lighting, and home decor to elevate the homeWe work with top brands, designers, influencers, press partners, and advertising platforms to match the right products with the right homes and deliver inspiring content to a wide digital audience of more than 140k instagram followers as well as features in popular publications like domino and elle decorYou will also be working with our sister brands hedgeapple and plushrugs.
Responsibilities:
Write content and source images for (but not limited to) blog posts, email campaigns, web content, social media, ads, etc
Conduct keyword research and use seo guidelines to optimize web content and keyword rankings
Publish content using our cms tool, striving to reflect our design aesthetic and enhance the consumer online retail experience
Update our website copy as needed
Research industry trends and topics; pitch content ideas; work with marketing team to help plan and execute the content calendar
Requirements:
Entry-level professional with a genuine interest in interior design and content creation
Impeccable writing and copy editing skills, including the ability to write for a brand
Knowledge of seo best practices
Basic web/graphic design skills and experience using cms platforms
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and reliably meet deadlines
