Business development representative - team leader - remote based

About the role
You will be responsible for delivering highly qualified leads to the north american sales teams and were looking for someone whos been here before; you will be defining our business development program and then making it happen, with an immediate responsibility to recruit a team of 6 business development representatives (bdrs) and plenty of scope to grow the team significantly.
As a member of learning pools sales leadership team, this role is crucial to the ongoing rapid growth of the group and presents significant potential for ongoing career development and personal reward for the successful candidate.
Roles &responsibilities include:
Recruit, lead,and develop an early-career team of 6 business development reps
Design andimplement an effective and scalable business development process that allowslearning pool to realize its growth ambitions
Effectivelycoach, develop, and enable team members to succeed on an accelerated careerpath to high sales performance
Identify, measure, and report on leading and lagging indicators that drive bdr performance and team behaviors and look to continuously refine and improve these in line with the worlds best saas and technology solutions organizations
Achieveallocated targets through creative and effective use of direct and virtual teamresources
Create anindustry-leading market intelligence process to gather information thatoptimizes future campaign execution
Be an exemplarin the use of our salesforce crm and our chosen business development platformto ensure accuracy of lead data, ensuring leads have all required informationprior to handoff to sales
Work closelywith sales leadership to create an environment where field salespeopleproactively engage with bdrs to share sector and organizational insight
Work withmarketing to drive a simultaneous outreach approach and develop and maintain acontinuous and consistent program of communications, content, and results todrive engagement between the bdr resources (internal and third party) and thesales channels
Alongside oursales operations function, ensure metrics are continually analyzed todemonstrate success, drive improvements, and provide insights into cadences,volumes, contact phasing, marketing content, and contact method success
Partner withour solution engineering team to ensure a consistent program of education andcoaching on our offering to enable bdrs to engage on potential solutions aspart of the lead qualification process.
The successfulcandidate will demonstrate the following:

A minimum of 2years proven experience in leading a business development team in a saasorganization, utilizing an industry leading tech stack to deliver multiple,simultaneous outreach campaigns and workstreams
Analyticalproblem-solving skills and a commitment to the continuous improvement of thebusiness development process
A resilientwork ethic combined with the credibility to build strong working relationshipsat all levels across the group
Strong planningand organizational skills
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills - demonstrating the ability to listen,understand, influence, and inspire.

This is aremote role but you must have a willingness to travel as required
