Job description
As vice president you will be in the most senior role at the company other than the directorKey responsibilities will include direct or indirect management oversight of a 20-person team (projected to reach 30 by eoy 2022); ensuring successful program execution across the organization; overseeing and executing fundraising and revenue development projects; and direct work on individual projects and material creation as needed.
In the role, you`ll deepen your management experience as well as broaden your skill set in diverse areas including public campaigns, corporate communications, venture capital, food technology, food policy, fundraising, marketing, and non-profit leadership.
This role comes with significant responsibility and corresponding work hoursStrong intelligence and the ability to successfully manage multiple work streams is critical.
Our organizational culture goals are to be utilitarian (doing the most good), candid, kind, psychologically healthy, hard-working, and intellectually rigorousAlthough this will likely not be the highest-paid position available to you on the job market, salary will be competitive and will be commensurate with skill level across a wide potential salary range.
Qualifications
We are looking for a vice president with the following skills, personality traits and experience:
· significant management experience and proven managerial effectiveness
· strong verbal/interpersonal communication and persuasion skills
· strong writing and editing abilities
· success-driven personality, with strong work ethic and flexible work hours (as our staff span 13 time zones)
· conscientiousness (high standards/thoroughness) and high intelligence
· moderate to strong familiarity with and support for the cause areas the foundation works to address
While we do not expect this and it is not a requirement, mandarin language skills would be an excellent value-add.
This is a work-from-home position, and we are open to candidates from anywhere in the world.
