Job description
Essential functions and responsibilities
Qa for outpatient surgery coding work remotely from the your home office review medical records and codes assigned by the coder, then provide feedback and corrections as needed; meet productivity and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications
Required:
Rhia, rhit, ccs, or ccs-p credential from ahima; cpc, coc or cic from aapc 2 or more years of recent coding experience top coding skills in specialty areaCoding test will be administered to demonstrate proficiencyAbility to work from home using high-speed wired cable, dsl, or satellite internet
Preferred:
Experience with emr, multiple encoders and abstracting systems
