Join a team within global digital services! the gds end user technology team is actively searching for an end user technology engineer to join our windows experience product teamThis team is part of our central it services organization that runs the infrastructure and foundational technology that is used across all business units and within corporate departments.
Under general direction, you will participate in an agile team to deliver end user services for our global workforceAs a subject matter expert in the desktop space, you will be challenged daily to improve and innovate the end user environment, engineering and designing new and innovative solutions to meet our end user requirementsThe end user technology engineer is responsible for end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, including but not limited to gathering requirements, converting requirements to technical designs, building, and securing the solution.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the evaluation, selection, and implementation of approved technologies that align with technical architecture, business plans and long-term strategy.
Responsible for product lifecycle management and quality assurance review of key productivity tools, hardware, and services.
Bachelor`s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience, technical degree preferredGenerally, 3+ years of professional experience.
Thorough knowledge in distributed end user technology architectures, identity, cloud-based platforms, and development tools
Experience supporting, configuring, and engineering microsoft technologies including windows operating systems (win10,), azure, group policy.
Proficient in multiple scripting or programming languages such as but not limited to win32, bash, vb, powershell, python, java, ability to develop or deliver scaled automation across multiple platforms.
Thorough understanding of agile concepts and processes.
Experience/exposure implementing technical solutions to fulfill business objectives, including but not limited to vendor engagements, proof of concept reviews, configuration/development, and implementation.
Solid oral and written communications skills.
Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker.
Collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills required.
Learns and embraces new and disruptive technology.
Experience working environments of significant scale and capacity, working in a fortune 500 company is a plus.
