Position: purchasing buyer
Position reports to the purchasing manager
Location: fully remote
The purchasing buyer is responsible for preparing and submitting purchase orders on a daily basis to vendor suppliersThe buyer will make purchasing and order fulfillment decisions with a daily goal to achieve a 100% fill rate.
Responsibilities
Assuring the timely processing of sales order fulfillment based on daily company order activity.
Working with sales and customer service departments to ensure customer orders are accurately entered, and placed in a timely and cost effective manner
Provide troubleshooting of purchasing issues to other company departments
Using erp to compile data and analyze purchasing patterns
Negotiate pricing, transportation and payment terms with vendors.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
2 years of prior purchasing experience.
Experience within a retail or manufacturing business is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree
