We have a great opportunity for an experienced, enterprise storage engineer to deliver and support enterprise storage solutions using dell emc storage, brocade san, and cisco ucs as well as awsThis senior storage engineer will lead in the delivery and sustainment of enterprise storage services while supporting the existing storage and san fabric infrastructureThis will include instrumentation and operational functions using power mac and power skillsAlong with utilising automation tools and asable playbook, you will work with command unified manager suite of tools– insight (assure, platform, plan, balance), performance manager, system manager, workflow automation, my autosupport, snap creator framework, and snapcenter.this senior storage engineer will lead in the research, testing, and implementation of lincoln enterprise storage solutions while participating in strategies for all future storage services to deliver lincoln business objectivesThis position will function as a technology leader in the architecture design, planning, delivery of enterprise services both on premises and in the cloudThe candidate will participate in vendor partnerships, assist in improving our overall storage service delivery, possess technical ability to troubleshoot and deliver our storage services and will execute to the lincoln project management methodology, best practices and standardsWhat you`ll be doing:
Leads the miplementation and delivery of all enterprise storage and san fabric solution architecture, and support for lincoln financial group enterprise storage services and delivery organization and all related storage and san infrastructureThis includes the storage and san services at multiple data centers.
Responsible for implementing and operating lincoln enterprise storage and san technologies and infrastructure including the management and instrumentation platformsIdentifies storage and san infrastructure enhancements that will improve the business processes and overall technical capabilities, stability and performance
Responsible for partnering with infrastructure peers, information security and business partners in the delivery of the storage and san solutions and environmentsLeverages dell emc, brocade, cisco ucs, and supporting platforms to support proactive storage service delivery and management.
Responsible for implementation and operation of the enterprise storage infrastructure and services including; san, nas, nfs, cifs, ucs in virtual and physical configurationsImplementation and operation of storage instrumentation platforms including; hardware appliances and software products, or tools, leveraged in the future.
Create and deliver technical and professional documentation, diagrams, and necessary material and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and switch between project management and daily systems support requestsStrong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with storage and san infrastructure
The candidate will work with various internal groups and customers to troubleshoot issues, isolate problems, optimization, and provide resolution(s) in accordance with the corporate change management processProvide accurate and timely root cause analysis of all storage issues and participate in swat activities on an as needed basis
Remains current in profession and industry trends.
Identifies and delivers positive contributions to the team by: - making suggestions for improvement – learning new skills, procedures and processes.
What we`re looking for: must-haves:
5–7+ years experience in system design/architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position(required)
1-2 + years experience aws cloud services, automation, scripting (python, powershell)
5+ years of experience in an enterprise storage and san, complex design, implementation and troubleshooting analytics.

Strage provisioning to unix, linux, windows for physical and virtual platforms
Power mac and power skills
Experience with ansable playbooks
Coding with gitlab

Bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experience
