Ready for your next challenge? nexcess is seeking a rockstar copywriter with a strong marketing / writing background to support marketing and communications efforts across the nexcess brandIn this critical role, you’ll help develop messaging and create engaging content that effectively tells the nexcess and digital commerce storyYou’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the hosting / ecommerce / wordpress industry as you work collaboratively across our business
As a copywriter you would:
Create messaging & copy that drives interest and engagement across our website & digital properties, product-related content, blogs, ebook, videos and more
Become a subject matter expert in our personas and audiences, continuously learning and tweaking messaging to become more and more effective
Support the development of our editorial calendar with an seo-first keyword strategy, relevant topics & ideas for new technical content
Collaborate with marketing team to respond to, and create deliverables for new content requests
Ensure content quality by editing for technical accuracy, consistency, and readability
Become a brand steward of the nexcess tone of voice
Identify and implement solutions to continuously improve processes and practices
You have:
3+ years of messaging / copywriting experience with an understanding of seo best practices
Exceptional writing, editing and researching skills
Comfortable with deadlines and the ability to be flexible as priorities change
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across the organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with the potential for short deadlines
Bonus points for:
Experience with google analytics and semrush
Hosting or ecommerce industry experience / knowledge of wordpress, woocommerce and/or magento
