Sales development representative
About the role
Our sales development representatives will partner with service providers (sps) to help grow their businesses by increasing brand awareness on mylocallabor.comThe sales rep operates in a fast-paced and competitive, yet team-oriented environmentIf you love continually being challenged and earning commissions for work completed, then local labor (ll) might just be your next career opportunity.
What you`ll do
Contact sps via phone and email about local labor as well as home professionals not yet on the platform
Educate sps on the ll platform while building value around our ll marketing opportunities
Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria
Assist ll service provider with creating free or preferred profiles
Initiate a professional rapport with prospects
Understand how to generate leads from multiple sources across a spectrum of media venues
Working hours monday - friday 10am - 3pm
At a minimum, we’d like you to have…
A working understanding of the website mylocallabor.com
Previous experience interacting with customers/clients
Working knowledge of google sheets, trello, slack, and google voice
Interpersonal skills- you enjoy talking with people in-person, over phone, or chatting through web app
Positive, can-do attitude - comfortable with hearing `no` many times
Goal-oriented and collaborative mindset: support each other to hit team targets and company goals.
Update customer info an in-house crm tool
Ideally, you’ll also have…
2+ years of relevant experience (ex: retail sales, customer service, call center, inside sales, or management trainee)
Verifiable track record of success
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
