Role: volunteer manager, part time

Description:
Community leaders in denver`s lowry neighborhood are launching a new volunteer reading and literacy program to support young learners who are on the cusp of achieving grade level skills! this is a brand new program serving lowry elementary school (denver public schools).
We began to solicit volunteers for this program and 3 days into it we are overwhelmed with the response and need help!
In order to support the launch and growth of this program we are recruiting volunteer managerThe volunteer manager will be the primary point of contact for all program volunteersYour contribution to the program will help ensure that our great volunteers are setup for success to provide a child with life changing skills and confidence.
The volunteer manager will be accountable for:
1Volunteer onboarding
2Volunteer assignments
3Volunteer satisfaction
4Volunteer issue resolution
The volunteer manager will be accountable to the program`s community lead.
Volunteer manager requirements :
11+ years experience overseeing volunteers
2Strong communication skills
3Access to a personal phone and computer
4Availability to work ~5 hours per week (flexibility on specific schedules)
5Self starter/entrepreneurial spirit.
