Job description summary:
Maximus is seeking a sr bi data analytics engineer to support our agile transformation process from project to product solution delivery in our standardized operations and analytics group within our health and human services divisionThis exciting opportunity will provide insights by leading analytic practices – including designing new and creative advanced analytical solutions – that will become part of our core analytical product solution offeringsThe selected candidate will work closely as part of a cross-functional agile product team to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights connected to many different areas of our business processesA sr bi data analytics engineer works with the entire lifecycle of analytics initiatives (research, design, development, implementation, and validation) using enterprise bi toolsets and cloud-based data as a service backend solutionsThis role will also participate in other continual process improvement activities, guide product owners, support ui/ux design, scrum management, and execute ad-hoc requests, as neededThe role is fully remote, with limited travel requirements, but travel may be up to 5% time when necessary.
Job summary:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the successful delivery of business intelligence (bi) information to the entire organization, including the assessment of business requirements, collection and identification of technical specifications, and the subsequent development of technology solutions.
Design architecture, and development, including: bi, database, etl , application, and system.
Gather and document business and system requirements.
Analyze requirements to design and develop optimal bpm and bi solutions.
Work collaboratively with other analysis and development teams to create standards and best practices for bi solutions.
Provide training and consulting for various technical and non-technical internal teams.
Produce work breakdowns and task estimates (scoping and tracking activities).
Produce and document standard and best practices.
Provide level 3 support for production systems.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in related field required.
5-7 years of related professional experience required.
