Merp systems incIs a cmmi level iii appraised, microsoft gold certified digital transformation services organization based in herndon, va that services federal agencies, state and local governments and non-profit organizations.
Merp systems is currently recruiting for an it recruiter/hr generalist who will be primarily responsible for talent acquisition and recruitment with some hr administration responsibilities
-source, screen and identify qualified candidates for a range of technical positions
-build a pipeline of candidates in preparation of upcoming staffing needs
-pre-qualify candidates for government contracts
-pre-screen candidates to for technical qualifications and skills
-create and maintain job descriptions
-responsible for onboarding the hired candidates to ensure a smooth transition
-conduct new hire orientation for new hires
-draft offer letters and process other new hire paperwork
- maintain the hr database, assisting with annual performance evaluations
- assist with payroll processing as needed
Required experience and skills
- at least 3 years of prior experience with technical recruitment
- at least 1 year of government contract recruiting or recruiting experience with microsoft technologies a plus
- exceptional communication skills
- excellent research and sourcing abilities
- proficient with word, excel and powerpoint
- familiarity with the microsoft technology stack
- good understanding of hr procedures and administration
