What we need from you
You`ll help our team deliver exceptional service to our partnersYou will coordinate content production with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, engagement, and performanceThe content specialist/editor contributes in the areas of writing, editing, and proofreading, and is responsible for project management and tracking of assigned content projectsThe ideal candidate makes sure all content is on-brand, factually accurate, from a well-vetted source, observes seo best practices, and that the story is primed for success across all channels: earned, paid, and owned.
Responsibilities
Writes and edits print and digital pieces and ensures all content is on-brand
Fact checks content for accuracy
Researches, vets, negotiates, and contracts writers for projects
Observes seo best practices
Works closely with team and client to prime content for success across all channels: earned, paid, and owned
Requirements
Highly knowledgeable about the state of idaho and its tourism offerings
Great communicator, copywriter, and editor
Tech-savvy: up-to-date on seo and google analytics proficient, and a user of must-know social media
Well versed in pr and influencer marketing
Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; able to read and interpret written information.
Able to develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress; complete projects on time.
Able to think about, assess, view, and create the future for themselves and others.
Understanding of digital marketing tactics and products.

In addition to these competencies, preferred experience with indesign, wordpress, marketing or agency work, or writing complex documents like proposals is appreciated.
