Mlb`s live content team is looking to add a video content creator specializing in short and long-form content creation across several verticals of the mlb marketing departmentCandidates must have a strong understanding of how content and various story-telling methods function on different social media platforms as well as being knowledgeable of the sport itselfThe role could ask you to work off hours, travel to various places around the country, and be creative on your feet.
This is a part-time position, covering various games and events in your regionWhile you`re working remotely, you will report to our content team in new york city.

Responsibilities:
You`ll work with our content team based out of new york city to create new and fresh content for our leagues brand and the verticals that exist within the marketing department.
Being in the know on what`s happening around the league and ready to come up with short content ideas on the flyCould be anything from a player records being broken, highlighting a rivalry, or brand-leading initiatives.
Onsite, being able to capture pregame, in-game, or postgame content that can live in multiple facets whether that be organically or for post-production needs.
Editing on tight deadlines and producing content on a nightly basis.
Requirements:
Being excited to grow the game of baseball.
Solid understanding and are knowledgeable of what current trends exist in the creative world.
Familiar with mlb and team`s voice on social, ready to contribute to that voice.
Creative, determined to create new content each day.
Have 2-3 years of professional production experience.
Know the ins and outs of all current and emerging social media platforms
Knowledge of various camera systems, specifically canon and sony.
Experience using adobe creative suite, more specifically premiere and after effects.
Flexible with your schedule, ready to cover events or edit on the fly.
Excited and willing to travel.
Strong communication skills.
Team player attitude.
Professional on and off the field, positive representation of the league and our department
Experience interviewing and storytelling.
Compensation:
This is a part-time job, $23 per hour with overtime eligibility
